"Popped in here on a late Sunday morning. Place was moderately busy already. The interior is beautifully set up, adorned with aviation items, art and other items. The seating is cosy. I had a simple cheese scone and a flat white. Scone was nice and warm and the coffee was good."

"Amazing place. I've called in many times for coffee and a muffin and pancakes. Today was looking forward to pancakes but they don't have them anymore. They have chicken waffles but that wasn't what I wanted. But the told me they would do me a sweet waffle. Oh yes please and it was yummy. They had a group there doing a baby shower as well very cute.."

"A well earned 5 star review. I have been to my fair share of remote and rural cafés across the world, but this is by far the best one I’ve yet experienced. Humble and a little tired looking from the outside, you will be transformed when you enter. The waitress team were friendly and attentive, the food was delicious and value for money, with a selection of brunch and lunch meals, as well as baked goods and sandwiches. This is nestled alongside a lovely shop full of great Mother’s Day gifts or newborn baby presents. I had the Nutella waffles…amazing! Bacon Nutella warm fruit and maple syrup…my morning made! With both indoor and outdoor seating options, with beautiful surrounding scenery, this is a must to stop at it you’re travelling across the South Island!"
